The motivation behind the journey

I am a 30 year old mother of three wonderful kids. Diet and exercise were never something I gave much thought about. I used to be able to eat what I wanted and it didn't really matter. Well three children later I cannot say the same thing. Today I weigh more then I did when I was 9 months pregnant. So I am on a journey to become a healthier me.

This is my first time with trying an exercise routine and watching what I eat. So I thought it would be fun, maybe encouraging and hopefully inspiring to document this journey.

My 3 main targets are ~
1. Walk 30 minutes at least 5 times a week
2. Drink more water
3. Make better food choices
